The Dexter swim and dive team showed why they are the top-ranked team in Division 2 by winning the Battle Creek Lakeview Spartan Invitational Saturday, January 6.
The Dreadnaughts finished with 440 points, easily outdistancing 2nd place Birmingham Groves with 377.5 and 3rd place Warren De Lasalle 376.
These three teams are expected to battle for the D-2 state title in March.
Nik Eberly had a big day, winning the 100 fly and was part of the winning 400 free relay along with Caey Dolen, Alex Shehab, and Clayton Kinnard.
Shehab also picked up a win in the 100 back.
Eberly and Shehab teamed up with Sam Krahn and Stephen Sterlitz to finish 2nd in the 200 medley relay.
Kinnard was third in the 200 IM and 100 back, while Dolen finished 3rd in the 100 free.
