The Dexter girls swim and dive team came home with a Plymouth Invitational title last week as the Dreads prep for a push for another SEC White title.
The Dreadnaughts finished with 476 points to beat out second-place Plymouth with 464. The meet just scored A and B swimmers/divers so the Dreadnaughts lost some of their strength in their depth, but still prevailed.
First place finishes went to Vivian Kinnard in diving, Hailee Waters 200 free, Emma Sortor 100 butterfly, and Charlotte Schultz 500 free.
Lily Witte was second in the diving, while Schultz in the 50, Waters 100 free, the 200 medley relay team of Lauren Witte, Zoe Michos, Lily Witte, and Holly Durand; 200 free relay of Lily Witte, Waters, Elizabeth Merz, and Shultz; and the 400 free relay team of Schultz, Durand, Merz, and Waters all earned second-place finishes.
Third-place finishes went to Merz in the 100 free, Lauren Witte 200 IM, and the 200 free relay team of Lauren Witte, Sortor, Michos, and Marea Balcom.
Michos in the 200 IM, Theresa Rutz 100 butterfly, Durand 100 free, and Maddi Matos the 100 back all earned 4th place finishes.
