The Dexter girls’ tennis team picked up a pair of SEC Red wins last week to improve to 3-3 in the league standings.
The Dreadnaughts opened the week by defeating Monroe 5-3.
The teams split the singles matches with Charlotte Bruderly winning a three-set match at one singles 2-6, 6-2, 6-1 and Siena Taylor picking up a 6-1, 6-1 win at three singles.
Juli Berkholtz and Claire Beneteau won 6-2, 6-1 at three doubles and Phoebe Matos teamed with Cameron Boyce at four doubles for a 6-0, 6-3 win.
The deciding match came at one doubles where Josie Alabre and Tessa Baughman pulled out a three set come from behind win 4-6, 6-0, 7-5 for the Dreads.
Dexter then cruised to an 8-0 win over Ypsilanti Lincoln.
No flight lost more than five game in their match.
Singles wins went to Bruderly 6-0, 6-0, Claudia Vanover 6-1, 6-4, Taylor 6-0, 6-0, and Brynlee Williams 6-0, 6-1.
The Dreads were just as impressive on the doubles side with Alabre-Baughman winning 6-0, 6-0, Raegan Kopitsch and Amelia Baglio 6-1, 6-0, Berkholtz and Beneteau 6-0, 6-1, and Matos-Boyce 6-0, 6-0.
The Dreads wrap up the regular season when they host Saline this week.
