The Dexter tennis team opened the 2019 campaign with a strong win at the Marshall quad Friday, August 16.

The Dreadnaughts finished with 16 points, beating out Marshall with 14, Vicksburg nine, and Kalamazoo Christian five.

Dexter had four flight winners on the day with Dane Wiegers winning at four-singles. Doubles winners went to Nate Kniesteadt/Simon Kim and one-doubles. Ryan O’rear/Justin Hoehn at three-doubles, and Kevin Flaherty/Hayden Carr at four doubles.

Duncan McLeod (two-singles), Jackson Durst (three-singles), and Nathan Kangas/Jake Kapusanky (two-doubles) each went 2-1, while Jared Enciso went 1-2 at one-singles.
