On May 19th, Deputies were dispatched to the intersection of Dexter-Pinckney Road and McGregor Road for an unknown injury crash. Upon arrival, Deputies contacted the driver of the at-fault vehicle and noticed that his speech was slurred and he had difficulty maintaining his balance. Deputies performed a sobriety evaluation and requested he take a preliminary breath test. The driver agreed and Deputies obtained a result over 2.5X the legal limit. The driver was placed under arrest and consented to a blood draw. The results of the blood draw confirmed that the driver’s blood alcohol content was nearly 3X the legal limit. Charges are pending with the Washtenaw County Prosecutor’s Office.

On May 21st, Deputies took a stolen vehicle complaint in the 8600 block of Toma Road. The complainant advised that someone had stolen a “car-hauler’ style trailer which contained a zero-turn mower and a 4-wheeler. The complainant informed Deputies that the trailer had been parked along their driveway the night before and was missing when they woke up.
