The Dexter boys and girls track teams took part in the EMU Huron Relays Friday night where the girls finished 5th and the boys 8th.
As in the past, the Dreadnaughts dominated the pole vault by sweeping the top spot in both.
Oliver Bishop won the boys with a vault of 13’6″ while Madison Wright vaulted a National qualifying and set a meet record with a leap of 11’9″.
Josie Mettes, Makenzie Stock, and Sarah Read all tied for fourth in the girls’ event, while Henry Sheldon was second in the boys.
The boys’ distance medley relay team of Lucas Betzoldt, Nate Larson, Nick McKenzie, and Jayden Dunham finished 4th, while the girls’ DMR team of Dani Waidley, Anna Varitek, Allison Berkholz, and Lauren Bazick was 5th.
