AGENDA

1. Public hearing to amend Sections 27.02, 27.05, 27.06, 25.07, and 31.07 to remove the requirement of a public hearing for a site plan, to replace the Planning Commission Chair with the Township Supervisor for administrative site plan review, and to remove the notice requirement for administrative site plans and administrative adjustments. 
   1. Public hearing to amend Table 18.1 to remove parking requirements for home occupation employees, which are not allowed, and to amend Table 25.1 to remove the zoning permit requirement for a home occupation.
   1. Action Items: 
      1. Zoning Ordinance amendment to remove the requirement of a public hearing for a site plan, to replace the Planning Commission Chair with the Township Supervisor for administrative site plan review, and to remove the notice requirement for an administrative site plans and administrative adjustments.
      1. Zoning Ordinance amendment to remove parking requirements and zoning permit requirements for home occupations.
   1. Discussion:  Zoning Ordinance amendments.

Draft zoning ordinance amendments may be viewed at the Dexter Township Hall during business hours (8:30 am – 4:30 pm Mon.-Thurs., excluding holidays). Information will also be available on the Planning Commission page of the Township’s website, https://www.dextertownship.org/planning-commission/, seven to ten days before the public hearing date.  Members of the public are welcome to attend the public hearings in person or by counsel to express views on the petition. Written comments should be addressed to the Planning Commission, 6880 Dexter-Pinckney, Dexter, MI 48130, or may be sent by email to the Director of Planning and Zoning at dpz@dextertownship.org.  All correspondence must be received by 12:00 p.m. (noon) on the public hearing date.
