NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given that, under the provisions of the Dexter Township Zoning Ordinance, effective October 29, 2020, the Dexter Township Planning Commission (Planning Commission) will hold a PUBLIC HEARING at the Dexter Township Hall at 6880 Dexter-Pinckney, Dexter, MI, 48130.

PURPOSE OF THE PUBLIC HEARING

Applicant(s): Sean Cummins
Project Description: Motor Vehicle Sales Site Plan and Special Land Use
Petition Description: Renovate existing building and parking lot for vehicle sales and office space.
Property Location: 11485 N Territorial Rd (D-04-15-300-001)

 A copy of the application and submitted materials may be viewed at the Dexter Township Hall during business hours (8:30 am – 4:30 pm weekdays, excluding holidays). Information will also be available on the Planning Commission page of the Township’s website, https://www.dextertownship.org/planning-commission/, seven to ten days before the public hearing date.

Members of the public are welcome to attend the public hearing in person or by counsel to express views on the petition. Written comments should be addressed to the Planning Commission, 6880 Dexter-Pinckney, Dexter, MI 48130, or may be sent by email to the Director of Planning and Zoning at dpz@dextertownship.org.  All correspondence must be received by 12:00 p.m. (noon) on the public hearing date.

 This notice is posted in compliance with PA 267 of 1976 as amended (Michigan Open Meetings Act), being MCL 15.265(4), and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990, as amended, being Title 42 Chapter 126 and Title 47 Chapter 5 of the United States Code.

 The Planning Commission will provide necessary reasonable auxiliary aids and services, such as signers for the hearing impaired and audio tapes of printed materials being considered at the meeting, to individuals with disabilities at the meeting upon seven days’ notice to the Planning Commission.
