NOTICE OF DEXTER TOWNSHIP
PLANNING COMMISSION PUBLIC HEARING
Tuesday August 28, 2024 6:00 P.M.
at 6880 Dexter-Pinckney Road

AGENDA
1) Public hearing to amend relevant portions of Article 16, Section 16.11 of the Zoning Ordinance to delete specific provisions for accessory buildings 200 square feet or less on lots one (1) acre or more.
2) Public hearing to amend to amend relevant portions of Article 16, Section 16.17 of the Zoning Ordinance to cross reference the access restrictions on hot tubs and pools allowed under the International Swimming Pool and Spa Code.
3) Discussion Item: Zoning Ordinance amendments including renewable energy amendments to comply with State Law.

Draft zoning ordinance amendments may be viewed at the Dexter Township Hall during business hours (8:30 am – 4:30 pm weekdays, excluding holidays). Information will also be available on the Planning Commission page of the Township’s website, https://www.dextertownship.org/planning-commission/, seven to ten days before the public hearing date. Members of the public are welcome to attend the public hearings in person or by counsel to express views on the petition. Written comments should be addressed to the Planning Commission, 6880 Dexter-Pinckney, Dexter, MI 48130, or may be sent by email to the Director of Planning and Zoning at dpz@dextertownship.org. All correspondence must be received by 12:00 p.m. (noon) on the public hearing date.
