The Dexter volleyball team opened conference play Thursday night with a three-game sweep of Tecumseh. The Dreadnaughts took down the Indians in straight sets 25-21, 25-16, 25-15. The win improved the Dreads record to 8-0 in the SEC White, including the Jamboree earlier in the season.
Senior Taylor Venuto had a big night for Dexter, leading the team with 17 kills, 17 digs, and three aces.
Brooklyn Brown added 13 kills and 11 digs, while Livvy Mellifont had 13 digs. Beth Ankenbauer dished out 14 assists, while Sara Scheaffer picked up 13 assists and four digs. Abby Herman chipped in with four kills and five digs, while Quinn LaFontaine added three kills.
The Dreadnaughts improved to 20-5 overall on the season.
