Dexter Wrestlers Fourth at Al Ritt Invite

The Dexter wrestling team hosted the Al Ritt Invitational Saturday, January 12 and finished with a 2-3 record and a fourth place finish.

The Dreadnaughts defeated Ann Arbor Pioneer 39-6 and Tecumseh “B” 37-36 and dropped matches to Hanover Horton 48-30, Schoolcraft 58-24, and Trenton 47-27.

Trenton won the tournament with a 5-0 record.

Marcus Young continued his strong season by going 5-0 on the day at 215 pounds to lead the Dreadnaughts.

Dylan Lorincz won four matches at 130, while Jasper Howell (152) and Ethan Cameron (189) won three matches each. Noah Drummond (135), Nathan Bauer (285), and Kevin Blanchar won two matches each on the day, while Eren Buyukbozkirli won a single match at 145.
