The Chelsea District Library and the Chelsea Senior Center are co-hosting a community event this Sunday, Oct. 6, titled Direct Dialoging on the Double.

Direct Dialoging on the Double is an opportunity to have one-on-one conversations with state and locally elected officials from 2 – 4 p.m. at the Washington Street Education Center in a speed-dating format.

This will entail three minutes conversations with representatives of their choice with the list including: City of Chelsea Fire Chief Robert Arbini, Chelsea City Manager John Hanifan, Chelsea City Mayor Melissa Johnson, Chelsea School District Superintendent Julie Helber, State Representative Donna Lasinski, Washtenaw Township Commissioner Jason Maciejewski, Senator Gary Peters, Dexter Township Superintendent Harley Rider, State Senator Lana Theis, and Chelsea City Police Chief Ed Toth.
