Learn about the World’s Fair held in 1904. This Fair would surpass even the Great Columbian Exposition of 1893. To celebrate the Louisiana Purchase of 1803 from France by President Thomas Jefferson, St. Louis was chosen for a grand World’s Fair held in 1904.

Ragtime music, advances in Science, Transportation, Medicine, Foreign Relations, and ethnic groups of people were featured. Advances in Electricity and Agriculture were high on the agenda. Join us and see why
