Dexter Community Band Free Holiday Concert

It’s that time of year to go over the Huron River and through the Hudson Mills woods for the Dexter Community Band’s annual holiday concert. There will be music about decked halls, a good king named Wenceslas, chestnuts, fires, roasting and angels you can hear on high.

Four members of the Vocal Arts Ensemble of Ann Arbor — soprano Fiona Linn, bass Austin Chrzanowski, alto Sara McLaughlin and tenor John McLaughlin — will join the band for several songs. Audience members are invited to stay for a reception with holiday treats and refreshments after the concert.
