From MDOT
The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is closing the Jackson Rd (Old US-12) bridge over I-94 for resurfacing.
The project is expected to end on April 30, 2021.
Ramps will remain open.
The new overlay and epoxy being applied will seal cracks and increase pavement friction. The project was originally budgeted for 2022 and comes a year early.
MDOT suggests these detours:
Westbound: Take I-94 WB to M-52, exit the freeway and get back on I-94 EB, and exit at Old US-12/Jackson Road.
Eastbound: I-94EB to Baker Road, exit the freeway and get back on I-94 WB ad exit at Old US-12/Jackson Road.
