Coming off a three game sweep at the hands of Dexter in which the offense could not get going, the Chelsea baseball team picked up an 11-4, 11-1 doubleheader sweep of Manchester Saturday.
Trenton Hill had a huge game going 4-4 with an RBI and four runs scored in the lead-off spot for the Bulldogs.
He led off the first and would later score on a passed ball to give Chelsea a 1-0 lead.
Hill started a three run rally in the third with a double and moved to third on a bunt single by Jacob Schultz. Joe Taylor would drive them both home with a two-run double and he would score on a sacrifice fly by Will Wilhelm to make it 4-0.
After a Gabe Anstead single and an error, Hill knocked in a run with a single. Schultz doubled in a pair of runs and later stole home to make it 8-0 after four.
Manchester answered with four runs in the fifth to cut the lead to 8-4, but the Bulldogs would seal the win with three runs in the bottom of the sixth.
Taylor and Schultz finished with two hits and two RBI each, Anstead and Lucas Dawson a hit each, and Wilhelm two sacrifice flies. Anstead earned the win striking out two.
The Bulldogs scored 11 runs in the first three innings and cruised to the 11-1 win in the second game.
Schultz led the offense with two hits and two RBI, while Hunter Sciackitano had two hits and an RBI.
Logan Kilgore had a double and drove in three runs, while Taylor added a hit and two RBI. Hill had a hit and scored three times, Dylan Dollinger a hit and run scored, and Chase Kemp two RBI. Max Herter earned the win pitching four inning and striking out two.
