The Chelsea soccer team had to hold off a furious second half rally by Jackson and a late goal by Andrea Kowalski lifted the Bulldogs to a 4-3 win over the Vikings Tuesday night.

Jackson took a 1-0 lead on a breakaway five minutes into the game, but the Bulldogs would get the equalizer on a long shot from outside by Mya Valik that beat the Vikings keeper to make it 1-1 at the half.

Chelsea came out strong in the second half when Ava Hoffman banged a shot off the post that ricocheted in to take a 2-1 lead.

Kowalski would make it 3-1 when she converted a penalty kick at 31:21 and the Bulldogs looked to be cruising.

Jackson would rally late, cutting the lead to 3-2 at the seven-minute mark of the second half and tied the game at 3-3 with 5:30 left.

With 4:07 remaining, Kowalski got behind the Vikings back line and beat the Jackson keeper for her second of the game to make it 4-3 and the Bulldogs would hold on for the win.

The Bulldogs improve to 6-2 in the SEC White.
