Chelsea Boys' Track and Field Second in SEC White
The Chelsea boys track team finished second overall on the season after a second place finish at the SEC White Finals at Ypsilanti Lincoln Friday.
The Bulldogs finished wiith 130 points in the meet that was won easily by Pinckney with 165.5.
Chelsea finished second in the dual meets and second in the Finals to finish second overall, beatin out Dexter and Adrian.
Will Barhite won the 300 hurdles and was 3rd in the 110 hurdles to lead the Bulldogs. He was also part of the 4x200 relay team that finished fourth along with Jack Krugh, Nick Fisk, and Brandon Snyder.
Aiden McGuire won the discus, while Ryan Scott was second in the discus and shot put for Chelsea.
Snyder finished second in the long jump and was part of the 4x100 relay team that finished fourth along with Ryan Martin, Fisk, and Ben Strzyzewski.
Dominic Guthre was third in the pole vault, fourth in the 400 and part of the third-place finishing 4x400 relay with Nick Spruce, Owen Smith, and Krugh. Spruce and Smith teamed with Jackson Dell and Connell Alford to finish third in the 4x800, while Alford was third in the 3200.
Smith finished fourth in the 800, while Andrew Hilbert was fourth in the 110 and 300 hurdles.
