NOTICE OF ADOPTION (ZTA22-001)

Notice is hereby given that the Township Board for Lyndon Township, Washtenaw County, Michigan adopted amendments to the parking space requirement for personal service establishments not otherwise specified in Chapter 16, Sections 16.06 Off Street Parking Requirements at a regular meeting held on November 14, 2022. Summaries of the amendments are below.

Chapter 16, Section 16.06 Off Street Parking Requirements

USE

PARKING SPACE PER UNIT OF MEASUREMENT

Personal service establishments not otherwise specified:

One (1) space for each four hundred (400) square feet

A copy of the full text of the new Zoning Ordinance amendments may be inspected or purchased at the Township Offices (17751 N. Territorial Road, Chelsea, MI 48118). The new Zoning Ordinance Amendments will also be posted on the Township’s website at

. The adopted amendment shall become effective 7 days after the notice is published, unless referendum procedures are initiated under MCL 125.3402 within seven (7) days after publication of this notice of adoption. If referendum procedures are initiated, the ordinance shall take effect in accordance with MCL 125.3402.
