Synopsis of Regular Meeting

January 9, 2023

Supervisor Luick opened the meeting at 7:00 PM with the Pledge of Allegiance. All board members were present.

The evening agenda was approved as presented.

The Board approved the consent agenda: Special meeting of November 10, 2022, with the change in adornment time to reflect 12:20 pm and meeting minutes of December 12, 2022, accounts payable for $11,692.36, and payroll for $11,151.43.

During public comment, a resident spoke to the Board regarding maintenance on Seitz Drive, and three residents voiced their concerns with the proposed Wolf Development.

The Treasurer, Clerk, Supervisor, and other committee reports were given.

During old business, the Resolution Finding Prior Approval of Wolf PUD Preliminary Plan is Null and Void was adopted.

This was adopted according to a township ordinance.

During the new business, a motion was passed to pay township employees $30 an hour for emergency-only township maintenance to be performed at the hall, depot, and cemeteries. Resolution #2023-001 to adopt Guidelines to Determine Poverty Taxation for 2023 was adopted. A motion was passed to have Drake & Drake Accounting do the annual township audit for up to $7,500, with an additional $1000 to prepare the F-65, along with $750 to prepare financial township reports.

There were no final public comments, and the meeting adjourned at 7.51 PM.
