Dexter Boys' Lacrosse Rolls Past Lincoln

The Dexter boys' lacrosse team finally returned to the field after nearly three weeks off and came out firing as the Dreadnaughts routed Ypsilanti Lincoln 18-0 Monday night.

The Dexter defense shut down the Splitters by allowing just five shot on net in which Everette Lemon stopped all five for the shutout for the Dreadnaughts. He also picked up an assist in the game.

AJ Gordon had a big night with seven goals and two assists to lead the Dreads offensive attack.

Kevin Koenn and Gerzon Herter recorded three goals and one assist each, while JT Bonilla and Gabe Ward each had two goals and an assist. Zach Norris added one goal, while Collin Kennedy had two assists, and Jeremiah Jones and Jason Terry one assist each.

Dexter improved to 1-1 on the season and will travel to Tecumseh Thursday night to take on the SEC White leading Indians.
