Dexter Baseball Finishes Three-Game Sweep of Lincoln

The Dexter baseball team used a fast start to build a big lead and finish a three game sweep of Ypsilanti Lincoln with a 13-2 win Wednesday.

Cole Arnedt, Cam Rosen, and Brennan Parachek had run scoring singles in the first inning as Dexter jumped to a 3-0 lead after one. 

Dexter would add four more runs in the second with RBI's from Rosen and Braeden Fuson for a 7-0 lead.

The lead would grow to 13-0 in the fourth with a two-run double by Jonathon Rosevelt and a two-run single by Fuson as the Dreads rolled to the win.

Arnedt had three hits and an RBI to lead the offense. Fuson and Rosen each had two hits and three RBI, while Davis Bennett had two hits and a run scored. Rosevelt and Parachek had a hit and two RBI's each, Evan Krolewski a triple and three runs scored, Joey Tessmer and Max Bielas a hit each.

Wyatt Novara struck out 11 and allowed three hits for the win on the mound for Dexter. 

The Dreadnaughts improve to 7-6 overall on the season and 5-1 in the SEC White.
