Dexter Lacrosse Takes Down Pinckney
The Dexter lacrosse team used a fast start with five first period goals and held off a Pinckney rally as the Dreadnaughts beat the Pirates 12-6.
The Dreads took a 5-1 lead after one only to be blanked in the second as the Pirates cut the lead to 5-3 at the half.
Dexter answered with four goals in the third period to extend the lead to 9-5 and finished with a 3-1 run in the fourth for the win.
AJ Gordon led the Dreadnaughts with four goals and one assist.
Kevin Koenn added three goal and Gabe Ward two goals and three assists. Gerzon Herter chipped in with two goals Johnny Sartori a goal and assist, and Colin Kennedy picked up two assists.
Everet Lemon made 14 saves in net for the Dreadnaughts
