SCIO TOWNSHIP BOARD OF TRUSTEES

SYNOPSIS OCTOBER 25, 2022

The meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm by Supr. Hathaway at 827 N. Zeeb Road.

Present: Hathaway, Flintoft, Brazeau, Knol, McLaughlin, Palmer

Approved the payment of claims presented and accepted the previous check run report.

Authorized the preparation of a resolution relative to returning the Arbres Grove project to the Planning Commission for further review.

Approved the minutes of October 11, 2022, with amendments.

Authorized payment of 2022 renewal of Township insurance policy and purchase of Cyber Liability Insurance.

Acceptance of revenue from two Opioid Settlement Agreements to accept $214.56 allocation from National Opioid Settlements.

Approved the Clerk’s submission of reimbursement request for the Michigan Department of State 2022 Election Security Grant.

Approved Change Order No. 2 to the Zeeb Road Pathway Phase IV agreement reducing the amount of the contract down to $886,469.47.

Appointed John Reiser to the Scio Township Board of Trustees to serve the remainder of Trustee Jerome’s unexpired term.
