SCIO TOWNSHIP BOARD OF TRUSTEES

SYNOPSIS OCTOBER 11, 2022

The meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm by Supr. Hathaway at 827 N. Zeeb Road.

Present: Hathaway, Flintoft, Knol, Brazeau, Palmer, McLaughlin

Absent: Jerome

Approved the payment of claims presented and accepted the previous check run report.

Authorized up to $100,000 to purchase two work vehicles for water and sewer infrastructure maintenance.

Approved the annual Township insurance policy through Decker Insurance Company.

Authorized a $275,422 payment of benefits to the full-time union fire department employees MERS Health Care Savings Program.

Adopted the proposed regular meeting schedule for the Board of Trustees for 2023.

Adopted the Resolution to update water and sewer connection charge and methodology.

Adopted the Resolution to establish debt service and water and sewer rates.

Approved PRP#22001/Morrison Hills Private Road with conditions.

Approved OA #22004, Nicholson Rezoning at 7155 Jackson Road from C4 to I-1.

Accepted the resignation of Alec Jerome effective 10/11/22 and accept applications to fill the vacancy.

Adjourned at 12:28 am.
