NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED FISCAL YEAR 2023-2024 MILLAGE RATE AND PROPOSED FISCAL YEAR 2023-2024 BUDGET

Notice is hereby given that the Dexter City Council will hold a public hearing Monday, June 12, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. at 3515 Broad St., Dexter, MI 48130, for the purpose of hearing public comment regarding the proposed fiscal year 2023-2024 Millage Rate and the proposed fiscal year 2023-2024 Budget. Information regarding the Proposed Fiscal Year July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024 Budget is available by requesting it via mail or arranged pick up from City Hall, 3515 Broad St., Dexter, MI 48130 weekdays between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm (734-426-8303) and online at https://www.dextermi.gov.

Interested parties are welcome to attend the public hearing and present their comments. Written comments regarding the draft ordinance should be submitted to the City Manager’s Office at 3515 Broad St., Dexter, MI 48130 or via email to jbreyer@dextermi.gov, and must be received no later than 5:00 p.m., Monday, June 12, 2023.

Sign language interpreter, or other assistance, may be provided upon request to the City Clerk, jbreyer@dextermi.gov, at least 72 hours in advance of the meeting. Minutes of all meetings are available on the City website, www.dextermi.gov.

Statement as required by MCL 141.412 – “The property tax millage rate proposed to be levied to support the proposed budget will be a subject of this hearing.”
