Laughter Unleashed: Camila Ballario Set to Headline The Comedy Experiment in Dexter

The Comedy Experiment will present Camila Ballario with Zach Wycuff & Danielle Bentzley, Sunday, June 4 at 7pm for a night of laughs at The Beer Grotto in Dexter! Hosted by local comedian Greg Sharp, this will be the 76th time since 2021 that comedians will take the stage at the Beer Grotto.

“This one should not be missed,” said Sharp. “Our headliner, Camila Ballario, is a crowd favorite everywhere she goes.”

The Argentine-born Ballario has been entertaining crowds far and wide with her fresh brand of stand-up, where she often joins her ideas with songs to give you a unique look into her perspective on the realities of being a woman in her 30s. She just recorded her first-ever comedy special and album in April, featuring material that she has been developing for over two years, as well as songs that she performs alongside her comedy act.

“I am so excited to headline this show as part of my summer tour,” said Ballario. “The Comedy Experiment holds a special place in every Michigan comic's heart. These shows just keep getting better.”

Ballario was voted ‘Best Comedian in Washtenaw County’ in 2020, winner of ‘Best of Fest’ at the 2021 Big Pine Comedy Festival, and ‘Best of Fest’ at Laugh After Dark Comedy Festival in 2022.

Additional comedians include Zach Wycuff out of Cincinnati, who just recorded a special for DryBar Comedy which will release later this year and Danielle Bentzley, an unstoppable force in the Michigan comedy scene.

“These three all in one show will make this one of our best shows yet,” said Sharp. “I can’t wait.”
