Synopsis of Action of the Dexter Township Board of Trustees
Board Meeting April 19, 2022
Location: Dexter Township Hall, 6880 Dexter-Pinckney Rd., Dexter, MI
Called to order at 6:00 PM
Members Present: Supervisor Ratkovich, Clerk Stamboulellis, Treasurer Metz, Trustees,
McDole, Nolte, Sanders and Sikkenga. Also present: Also present: Attorney Mark Roberts;
Consultant Colleen Coogan; David Rohr, Director of Planning and Zoning, and Janis Miller,
Recording Secretary.
Supervisors Remarks: Discussion of past pensions, MERS, local road repairs, and new officer
position – one full time office manager verses two part time.
Call to the Public: Deb Ceo discussed Defined Benefit, Salaries, and appreciates the new Dexter
Township website.
The Board took the following action: Approved the Amended Agenda for the April 19, 2022
Regular Board Meeting. Approval of the March 15, 2022 Public Budget Hearing March 15, 2022
Meeting Minutes.
New Business: Upcoming Cleanup Day. No Mow May. Discussion of new full-time position –
office manager. State approved mileage increase. 6900 Dexter Pinckney House Plan. Appoint
David Rohr to CACA Board. Appoint Metz to Planning Commission. Approve settlement
agreement for MLSW. Consideration on Investment Policy.
The following Resolutions were approved: Approval of Resolution #22-645 to initiate Road
Repairs. Approval of Resolution #22-646 Budget Amendment. Approval of Resolution #22-647
to increase staff salaries. Approval of Resolution #22-648 to increase Treasurer salary 3%.
Approval of Resolution #22-649 to increase Clerk salary 3%. Approval of Resolution #22-650 to
increase Supervisor salary 3%. Approval of Resolution #22-651 to approve the Michigan
Cooperative Liquid Assets Securities System / Invest Policy / Michigan CLASS.
Authorization of Payments: General Fund $84,618.66, Fire Fund $89,640.31, Police Fund
$43,066.18, Open Space and Land Initiative fund $799.85, and Payroll $29,151.93; for a grand
total of $247,276.93 that includes gross payroll.
Second Call to the Public: None.
The meeting was adjourned at 10:11p.m.

minutes of the February 15, 2022 Regular meeting of the Dexter Township Board of Trustees will be presented at the March 15, 2022, Regular
meeting for review and approval by the Board. Following approval, the full minutes will be posted on the Township’s web site
