Whitepine Studios to Present a Collection of Works by the Ann Arbor Pastelists

This post expresses the views and opinions of the author(s) and not necessarily that of The Sun Times News management or staff.

From April 18 through July 17, 2022, Whitepine Studios will present an impressive collection of works by the Ann Arbor Pastelists. Accomplished local artists participating in the exhibit include Sue Craig, Ed Kennedy, Anne Kindl, Linda Klenczar, Janet Kohler, Lois Lovejoy, Robert Palmerton and Sally Wetzel. Pastels have been favored by many artists because of the medium’s broad range of bright colors and textures. Many of the works to be exhibited are created en plein air, allowing the artist to capture natural light and color.

On Sunday, May 1, from 1:30-3:00 pm, in collaboration with The 109 Cultural Exchange, we will be hosting opening receptions for our featured artists. At Whitepine Studios you will be able to meet the Ann Arbor Pastelists and at the 109 Cultural Exchange you will be able to experience the beautiful oil paintings of Sandra Difazio.

Join us for this exceptional opportunity to celebrate art in Saline. Greet our Michigan artists and watch them at work in our studio creating their pieces. Complimentary desserts and beverages will be provided. Bring the whole family and friends, and support our local art community and artists.
