Where are you or your organization at on your DEI journey?

Whether you are just getting started or you have a good comprehension of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, this session is for you.

There are many challenges affecting the availability of opportunities for black-owned/run businesses and their employees. Many other minority groups face similar circumstances. Attendees who bring an open mind, and a genuine interest to learn about DEI issues to this event can develop a better awareness and understanding of where they and their organization are on the continuum, and how to continue taking meaningful steps toward great equity of opportunity.

When we show up as our better self, our businesses and communities are better for it, and positive change is imminent!


DESCRIPTION
The session will introduce businesses to the 6 stages of the cultural competence continuum, and will highlight African Americans who made a positive impact along the continuum.

Dr. Sabrina Jackson
"Dr. Sabrina is a once-in-a-generation personality that can make you laugh, cry, and think in a single session. From Wallstreet to church leadership, Dr. Sabrina is requested worldwide to help people with people - even if that person is themselves. Through fashion, media segments, public speaking, and one-on-one coaching - Dr. Sabrina challenges each person to communicate their best self to the world." Dr. Sabrina is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University, received her Masters Degree at 23, is a successful Entrepreneur, has a weekly segment on Fox 2 Detroit and has been featured on CNN, Essence, Woman's World and amongst many of her other accolades, she received the 2016 Lifetime Achievement Award from President Barack Obama's Administration.
