SYNOPSIS
The Regular meeting of the Saline City Council was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Mayor Marl at Saline City Hall. The Mayor and four members of Council were present. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Council voted to approve the agenda as amended. There were seven public comments. There was one presentation. The following Consent Agenda items were approved by Council: Council minutes and synopsis of October 3, 2022; Bills consisting of 90 Payees in the amount of $663,749.66; Resignation of Jason Shields from the Parks Commission; Resignation of Ted Troxell from the ZBA; Appointment of Claire Warden to the Parks Commission; appointment of Nicholas Lombard to the Arts & Culture Committee; Investment Report.
Public Hearing
22-238 Special Land Use – 537 E. Michigan Ave. – public hearing was open and closed and approved by City Council.
22-239 Special Land Use -797 W. Michigan Ave – public hearing was open and closed and approved by City Council.
Unfinished Business
22-236 Community Event Policy was postponed until November 7, 2022. 22—214 Rental Inspection Ordinance – Second Reading was approved by City Council.
New Business:
Council voted to approve 22-259 Discretionary Sewer Credits; 22-258 Resolution of Support for High Water Infrastructure Grant; 22-260 BOD RBC Repair. There were four Discussion and/or Report items. There were four public comments.
Council voted to adjourn at 8:57 p.m.
