Dexter Girls’ Soccer Season Ends in Regional

The Dexter girls’ soccer team saw its season come to an end in the D2 Regional semifinal at Mason Tuesday, June 4, falling to Marshall 1-0.

Marshall came out quick with a scoring chance in the opening minutes, but the shot went just wide.

Dexter’s best chance came with a direct kick from 15 yards out, but the Marshall goaltender made a running save in the right corner to keep the game scoreless.

It remained scoreless until the 65th minute when the Redhawks sent the ball deep and saved it from going over the end line, they then sent a crossing pass in front of the net and placed a shot over the top of goaltender Nicole Tuzinowski into the top of the next for the games only goal.
