Golfers Seventh at Orange Theory Invite

The Dexter boys’ golf team had a strong showing at the Orange Theory Invitational at Hudson Mills Saturday, finishing seventh out of 25 teams.

The Dreadnaughts finished with a team score of 315. Birmingham Brother Rice won the event with a score of 281.

Matt Keogh led the Dreadnaughts with an 18-hole score of 74.

Kyle Knapp and Jack Evans each finished with 80, and Jack Kolka 81.

The Dreads dropped three matches at an SEC quad at Chelsea April 30. They fell to Ann Arbor Pioneer 152-174, Saline 161-174, and Chelsea 161-174.

Keogh fired a 37 to lead Dexter. Kolka and Evans each shot 44, Elijah Sharp 49, Joey Fracassi 53, and Knapp 55.
