At age 77, passed away Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Chelsea Retirement Community. He was born June 4, 1941 in Monroe, Michigan, the son of James W. and Dolly (McKinney) Hall.

James was a Journeyman sheet metal fabricator at U of M, a teacher at WCC, and owned a heating sheet metal company.  He had been the building maintenance supervisor at multiple companies.  He was a member of the Moose Lodge and enjoyed long Sunday drives and time with his family.

Survivors include two sons, James (Leah) Hall of Chelsea, John (Mary Priya) of Dexter; a daughter, Christine Maier; a brother George F. Hall; and three grandchildren, Zachary Schneider, Rebecca Hall, and Luke Hall.

A private celebration of life will take place. Memorial contributions may be made to Mooseheart, 155 S International Drive, Mooseheart, IL 60539; or the grandchildren’s college fund (checks to John Hall). Arrangements were entrusted to Cole Funeral Chapel in Chelsea.
