Sounds & Sights on Thursday Nights, presented by Rick Taylor Real Estate – Reinhart Realtors kicks off its free summer concert series Thursday, June 7 from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m. Professional artists perform at nine staged areas located throughout downtown Chelsea featuring music, dance, comedy, and family entertainment.
Celebrating its 14th season, Sounds & Sights showcases the talents of crowd favorites like Creole De Norde, Delbert Walling and Haley Houtz,, and Corndaddy as well as welcomes new performances by Mike Gentry, and TC and the Roadmasters.
There is something for the whole family including the Face Painting Robot and balloon animals created by 3 Generations Twisters. In honor of the Chelsea District Library’s long-standing tradition of Thursday evening comedy, comedian Kevin Kramis is welcomed back for a night of cheers and laughs.
Chelsea Chalk Artreturns with free “How to Chalk” seminars each week beneath the Clocktower. For the opening night, the focus is learning to draw birds.
The Sounds and Sights on Thursday Nights summer line-up has been modified as the construction on the Palmer Lot stage was delayed by weather. John Lanti, who was scheduled for the Palmer Lot stage opening week, will be performing Thursday, July 19 at the East Alley stage.
