NOTICE OF LAST DAY OF REGISTRATION

TO THE QUALIFIED ELECTORS OF WEBSTER TOWNSHIP, PLEASE TAKE NOTICE:

A GENERAL ELECTION will be held in Webster Township on Tuesday, November 6, 2018.



The LAST DAY TO REGISTER for the election is Tuesday, October 9, 2018 by 4:00 p.m.

If You Have Moved Recently You Must Amend Your Registration Record.

YOU CAN REGISTER TO VOTE AT:

Webster Township Clerk’s office, 5665 Webster Church Rd., Monday – Thursday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Secretary of State offices, during regular business hours

Voter Registration Applications are also available at mi.gov/vote

If you have any questions regarding the upcoming election, please visit: mi.gov/vote or contact your Township Clerk at 734-426-5103. The polling place is located at the Webster Township Hall, 5665 Webster Church Road, and is handicapped accessible with voting available in alternate forms (audio and braille). THE PURPOSE OF THIS STATE GENERAL ELECTION IS TO VOTE ON: State Governor, Secretary of State, State Attorney General, Congressional U.S. Senator, Representative in Congress 7th District, Legislative State Senator 22nd District, Representative in State Legislature 52nd District, Member of the State Board of Education, Regent of the University of Michigan, Trustee of Michigan State University, Governor of Wayne State University, County Commissioner 2nd District, Justice of Supreme Court, Judge of Court of Appeals 3rd District, Judge of Circuit Court 22nd Circuit, Judge of Probate Court, Judge of District Court 14A District, Board of Trustees Member Washtenaw Community College, Board Member Dexter Community Schools, Board Member Whitmore Lake Public Schools, Board Member Pinckney Community Schools, Board Member Ann Arbor Public Schools, Board Member Ann Arbor District Library, State Proposal 18-1: A proposed initiated law to authorize and legalize possession, use and cultivation of marijuana products by individuals who are at least 21 years of age and older, and commercial sales of marijuana through state-licensed retailers, State Proposal 18-2: A proposed constitutional amendment to establish a commission of citizens with exclusive authority to adopt district boundaries for the Michigan Senate, Michigan House of Representatives and U.S. Congress, every 10 years, State Proposal 18:3: A proposal to authorize automatic and Election Day voter registration, no-reason absentee voting, and straight ticket voting; and add current legal requirements for military and overseas voting and post-election audits to the Michigan Constitution, Washtenaw County Proposal to Renew the Tax Limitation for Parks and Recreation Purposes Including Acquisition, Development, Maintenance and Operation of Park Lands and Recreation Facilities for the Benefit of Washtenaw County Citizens A complete copy of the ballot (which includes the complete wording of the proposals) may be obtained at the Webster Township Hall, 5665 Webster Church Road, Dexter, MI 48130 or at mi.gov/vote
