I wish to thank John Mann for the letter outlining his apology concerning a misunderstanding that arose at a school board meeting. He admitted to not checking the facts but also went on to say, “I stand corrected. I’m sorry.”
What a wonderful example you have given all of us in these contentious times concerning the power of an apology. You have convinced me to hope that civil discourse is not dead. When individuals speak their truth and are humble enough to back down from the need to be right each and every time, I consider them to be very courageous. Thanks for taking this risk to set the record right.
