Motion by Luick, supported by Kwaske, to approve the agenda as submitted. All ayes. Motion passed.
Motion by Luick, supported Havens, to approve the consent agenda of Minutes of October 13 Regular Meeting, Minutes of November 6 Special Meeting, Payroll ($12,628.42) and Accounts Payable ($17,264.11) as submitted. All ayes. Motion passed.
Motion by McKenzie, supported by Luick, to authorize the Supervisor to seek a reasonable lease or rent amount for the Lima Depot with input from a local real estate agent. All ayes. Motion passed.
Motion by McKenzie, supported by Luick, to authorize the Supervisor to sign the Professional Services Agreement dated November 6, 2025 from Beckett & Raeder to contract them as our Township Planning Consultant. All ayes. Motion passed.
Motion by Kwaske, supported by McKenzie, to accept Attorney Lillich’s retirement letter and continue service with Castleberry and Lucas with Fred Lucas as our primary contact for Township Attorney. All ayes. Motion passed.
Motion by Luick, supported by Kwaske, to adopt the Sylvan-Lima Joint Planning Commission Ordinance number EDPA-25-01. Upon a roll call vote, all ayes. Motion passed.
Motion by Luick, supported by McKenzie, to approve the 2026 Meeting Dates and Holiday schedule as submitted. All ayes. Motion passed.
Motion by McKenzie, supported by Havens, to reappoint Wayne Lambarth as the alternate to ZBA; reappoint Nanette Havens as representative to Western Wash Recycling Authority with Greg McKenzie as alternate; reappoint Nanette Havens as representative to Washtenaw County Consortium for Solid Waste Management with Greg McKenzie as alternate; remove Bill VanRiper as alternate to WAVE as no alternate is required; reappoint Bill VanRiper as representative to SEMCOG with Greg McKenzie as alternate; reappoint Marlene Consiglio and Elizabeth Sensoli to Township Planning Commission; reappoint Patricia Garcia as representative to Chelsea District Library Board with no alternate; reappoint Bill VanRiper as representative to CAFA with Jennifer Evens as alternate; and to appoint Ann Kwaske as representative to Chelsea Area Construction Agency with Dale Luick as alternate for standard terms as specified.
