Lima Twp: Board Meeting Synopsis 9/8/25

Meeting called to order at 7:00 pm. Members present: Supervisor Bill VanRiper, Treasurer Nanette Havens, Clerk Ann Kwaske, Trustee Dale Luick, Trustee Greg McKenzie.

Motion by Kwaske, seconded by Luick, to approve the agenda with the addition of City of Chelsea New Master Plan under New Business. All ayes. Motion passed.

Motion by McKenzie, seconded Luick, to approve the consent agenda of Minutes of August 11 regular meeting, Payroll ($14,579.98) and Accounts Payable ($20,294.80) as submitted.  All ayes. Motion passed.

Motion by McKenzie, seconded by Luick, to authorize a survey and title search of Clements Cemetery property.  All ayes.  Motion passed.

Motion by Luick, seconded by McKenzie, to turn on the electricity and hire a company to clear out the Lima Depot property.  All ayes. Motion passed.

McKenzie offered, supported by Luick, Resolution 2025-14 to Adopt the Lima Township Earned Sick Time Act (ESTA) Policy, with the addition of attorney review.  Upon a roll call vote, all ayes.  Resolution adopted.

Motion by McKenzie, seconded by Kwaske, to forward the new City of Chelsea Master Plan to all members of planning commission and board for review when received.  All ayes. Motion passed.

Motion by Havens, seconded by Luick, to adjourn.  All ayes.  Motion passed.
