LIMA TWP: NOTICE OF ELECTION 8/6/2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to the qualified electors of Lima Township, County of Washtenaw that the State Primary Election will be held in Lima Township on Tuesday, August 6, 2024. The polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the following location:
Precinct 1: Lima Township Hall, 11452 Jackson Road, Dexter, MI 48130
for the purpose of electing candidates for the following offices:
United States Senator, Rep. in Congress, 6th District, Rep. in State Legislature 47th District, Prosecuting Attorney, County Sheriff, County Clerk/Register of Deeds, County Treasurer, County Water Resources Commissioner, County Commissioner 1st District, Lima Township Supervisor, Lima Township Clerk, Lima Township Treasurer, Lima Township
Trustees and for the purposes of electing Precinct Delegates.
and to vote on the following proposals:
WASHTENAW COUNTY PROPOSAL A, to authorize the county of Washtenaw to levy 0.5000 mill for the purpose of providing funding to maintain, construct, resurface, reconstruct or preserve roads, bike lanes, streets and paths.
WASHTENAW COUNTY PROPOSAL B, to authorize the county of Washtenaw to levy 0.02 mills for the purpose of providing funding for the Washtenaw County Conservation District.
WASHTENAW COUNTY PROPOSAL C, to authorize the county of Washtenaw to levy 0.2500 mills for the purpose of acquiring, developing, maintaining and operating park lands and recreation facilities for the benefit of Washtenaw County citizens.
Full proposal text and sample ballots can be found at mi.gov/vote or at the Lima Township Offices, 12172 Jackson Road, Dexter. Absentee ballots are available for all elections. Registered voters may obtain an application for an absent voter ballot from the Lima Township Clerk’s office. All polling location are accessible for voters with disabilities. Voting instructions will be available in audio format and in Braille if requested of the Clerk in advance of the election.
