Summary of Minutes, August 6, 2016—REGULAR MEETING—Meeting called to order at 7:00 PM. During Public Comment, an attendee expressed concerns about CAFA. Items Approved: Approved Agenda by Moving 6F. under New Business up to 6. Chelsea Rod and Gun Club (after Correspondence); Consent Agenda. Ben Fineman stated that to date, 208 survey responses have been received for the broadband survey that went out with summer taxes. Approximately 12% of registered voters are supportive of a mileage for broadband infrastructure in Lyndon Township. Based on partial analysis of driveway lengths, the current average driveway length is 400’, which is significantly less than the 600 figure in the current draft of the feasibility study. A reduction to 400’ could save several hundred thousand dollars and several points off the mileage. Finally, Webster and Dexter Townships have received drafts of their feasibility studies and are reviewing before accepting as final.
