LYNDON TOWNSHIP RESIDENTS
LYNDON TOWNSHIP PLANNING COMMISSION PUBLIC HEARING,
August 29, 2024 AT 7:00 PM
The Lyndon Township Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Thursday, August, 29 2024 at 7:00 PM to consider a large temporary event permit at 20120 Bartell Road. The Large Temporary Event Permit (LTE 24-001) is to allow the Run Woodstock races to be held at the Old Camp Bruin Lake Campgrounds at 20120 Bartell Road. The first run will be held on Friday, September 6, 2024 and the last run will be on Sunday, September 8, 2024. There will be approximately 1,500 runners participating in the event and approximately 1,000 event participants will stay at the campgrounds overnight. September 4, 5 and 9 will be used for setup and cleanup of the event.
A copy of the application documents can be obtained via email at ordinance@lyndontownshipmi.gov or at the Lyndon Township Offices at 17751 N. Territorial Road, Chelsea, MI 48118. Written comments may be submitted to the Lyndon Township Clerk, Linda Reilly via email at clerk@lyndontownshipmi.gov or can be sent to the Lyndon Township Offices via mail. All correspondence must be submitted by 4:00 pm the day of the public hearing or presented at the public hearing.
The Lyndon Township Board will provide, if time after the request allows, necessary and reasonable auxiliary aids or services to individuals with disabilities at the public hearing.
