The No. 5 ranked Manchester Lady Dutch Soccer team completed a season sweep of the Clinton Redskins on May 22, defeating the Redskins 8-0.

After winning their first meeting 8-0 the Lady Dutch replicated the feat 14 minutes into the second half on Tuesday.

Junior forward Emma Mrocko got the scoring started for the Lady Dutch less than five minutes into the contest after a cross from junior midfielder Hannah Woods. E. Mrocko would then assist on a goal six minutes later, leaving a ball off a throw-in perfectly to junior midfielder Rayne Edwards who one-timed the shot into the left of the net.

With 11:48 remaining in the first half sophomore forward Liz Mrocko got on the stat sheet, a long pass into the box from sophomore midfielder Rylee Spitler, that L. Mrocko finished after cutting and causing a defender to miss and calmly slotting the ball on the ground past the keeper.

L. Mrocko would notch two more goals before halftime, completing her hat trick and giving the Lady Dutch a 5-0 lead.

In the second half, Edwards scored first after a short kick from Clinton, she settled the ball and launched a rocket with her left foot that the diving keeper couldn’t save.

Less than a minute later Spitler scored on a corner kick, heading a ball from sophomore defender Mikayla Ball into the corner.

Sophomore midfielder Natalie Bargardi capped the 8-0 win with 26:41 recovering a loss ball before unleashing an arcing shot that the keeper dived and missed.

The Lady Dutch travel to Quincy tomorrow, May 24, for their crossover contest at 3:30 p.m.
