The Manchester track teams took part in the East Jackson Dome Classic Friday and came home with some strong finishes.
The girls’ finished in fifth place with 55 points in the meet won by Onsted with 87.
Mary Bradshaw had a big night for the Sutch with second place finishes in the 1600 and 3200 races and a third-place finish in the 800.
Jesse Phillips finished 3rd in the 100 and was 6th in the long jump, while Gwen Gebhardt was 5th in the 100 and 5th in the long jump. Catie Heisey was 7th in the 100 hurdle, Molly Lattimer 7th in 1600, and Kara Kelley 8th in the 300 hurdles.
The boys’ finished 8th with 44.33 points in the meet won by Addison with 90.16.
Paul Durheim won the 300 hurdles to lead Manchester.
Henry Hehrly was second in the long jump, while the Dutch finished 2nd in the 4×200 and 4×400 relays. Calvin Daniels was 5th in the 400, Jason Riske 7th in the 800, and Schyler Kanga 7th in the 1600.
