Webster Township Regular Board Meeting

July 16, 2019, 7:00 P.M.

The Webster Township Board Meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Supervisor John Kingsley on July 16, 2019 at the Webster Township Hall, 5665 Webster Church Road, Dexter, MI 48130. Members present: Supervisor John Kingsley; Clerk Barbara Calleja; Treasurer Carol Whitney; Trustees John Westman, Brant Savander, Richard Kleinschmidt, John Scharf absent; Zoning Administrator Randy Raiford; Deputy Clerk Donna Whitney; and 38 citizens.

Motion to approve the minutes of the Webster Township Board of Trustees Regular Meeting held on June 18, 2019. Carried.



Motion to accept the audit report FY 2019. Carried.

Motion to approve the agendaas presented. Carried.

Motion to accept the Treasurer’s report and pay bills as presented, as well as those anticipated bills

received before the August 20, 2019 meeting. Carried.

Discussion on creating an Open Burn & Demolition Flyer for public outreach, an example should be available at the August 20, 2019 meeting.

Discussion on performance reviews, an outline should be available for review at the August 20, 2019

meeting.

Motion to return Thomas Howe’s escrow deposit. Carried.

Motion to set a public hearing for August 20, 2019, 7:00 p.m. for a variance, Section 14, of the private road ordinance, requested by the residents of Scully Rd; designating Scully road, ¾ of a mile North of Walsh Rd as a private road. Carried.

Discussion took place in regards to the Washtenaw County Road Commission representation. Supervisor Kingsley will draft resolutions to be presented at the August 20, 2019 in regards to the representation model of the Washtenaw County Road Commission.

Discussion; a formal request, RFP, will be put together to solicit bids for the acquisition and sustainment of a new website for the township.

Motion to adjourn the meeting at 9:33 p.m. Carried.
