Board Meeting Synopsis
February 7, 2019
The Sharon Township Board held its February Board meeting on February 7, 2019 at the Sharon Town Hall. There were 11 public attendees. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm. The Pledge of Allegiance was said. Roll Call: Guysky, Mikel, Psarouthakis, Simons, Cooper: PRESENT. Approval of the agenda. There were no public comments. General Reports were given. Taxes are due by February 14th without penalty. The Planning Commission gave an update on the Master Plan survey. Update on cemetery lot survey and Bethel Church Rd bridge and roads. Discussion on county parks purchasing township property and potential tax implications took place. Discussion about the Village of Manchester potentially becoming a City and the potential negative impacts for Sharon Township update was given. The board unanimously adopted the 2019 Sharon Township Hardship exemption form and guidelines and the “Resolution to permit letter appeals to Board of Review for Real & Personal Property” *The complete 2019 Hardship form and guidelines and Resolution mentioned above may be viewed at the town hall* The January warrant report and February payroll was presented and approved. The meeting adjourned at 7:50 pm.
The next Board meeting will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2019 @ 7pm at the Sharon Town Hall (18010 W. Pleasant Lake Rd)
