The Milan chapter of the Philanthropic Educational Organization (P.E.O), Chapter H, has granted Heather Neuburger the Program of Continuing Education award. Heather has recently graduated with her nursing degree from Washtenaw Community College in April. The award, given by the Milan Chapter H, is a $2,700 grant for Heather to use toward her educational expenses.
P.E.O. is an international women’s organization whose primary mission is to promote educational opportunities for women through scholarships, grants, and loans. Founded in 1869 in the United States, the organization expanded to have chapters throughout the U.S. and Canada, in addition to some international chapters. Heather’s determination and academic excellence exemplify the values upheld by P.E.O, and Milan Chapter H is proud to support her educational journey.
