NOTICE OF PROPERTY REZONING AND LAND USE CHANGE
At a Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees for Lima Township the following resolution was adopted on July 9, 2018.
Whereasa petition was submitted to rezone an approximately 3.6 acre portion of the property located west of the intersection of N. Fletcher Road and E. Old US Highway 23, known as G-07-17-400-001 currently zoned AG-2-Agricultural and requesting it changed to GC – General Commercial,
Whereasa public hearing was properly noticed and held on January 22, 2018 by the Planning Commission for application #2017-005 with no public input or comments,
Whereasa Land Division Application was received by the Township Assessor from James Goble on behalf of the property owner Eugene Seitz,
Whereasbased on the findings in the Carlisle/Wortman report dated January 16, 2018 and revised June 27, 2018the subject area is consistent with Township policies and is suitable for the current commercial area as well as the indicated purpose of the applicate, and would not present negative effects if approval were granted, and
Whereaswith the recommendations of the Planning Commission and the Township Planning Consultant,
Now therefore be it resolvedthat the Township Board approve the rezoning of approximately 3.6 acres currently known as PART Of Tax ID # G-07-17-400-001 from AG-2 – Agricultural to GC – General Commercial as petitioned for in application #2017-005 by James Goble.
