NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE SALE OF 2 ACRES OF CITY OWNED PROPERTY AT 7651 DAN HOEY TO DTE ENERGY

Notice is hereby given that the Dexter City Council will hold a public hearing on Monday, June 25, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at the Dexter Senior Center, 7720 Dexter-Ann Arbor Road, Dexter, Michigan, for the purpose of hearing public comment regarding the proposed sale of 2 acres of City owned property at 7651 Dan Hoey to DTE Energy. The City plans to exchange this land as part of an agreement with DTE to obtain the current DTE substation property located on Broad Street in downtown Dexter.

A copy of the agreement with DTE Energy is available for public inspection at the City Office, on the second floor of the PNC Bank Building, 8123 Main Street, Dexter MI weekdays between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm and online at http://www.dextermi.gov.

Interested parties are welcome to attend the public hearing and present their comments.  Written comments regarding the proposed amendments should be submitted to the Office of the City Manager at the address listed above or via email to cnicholls@dextermi.gov, and must be received no later than 5:00 p.m., Monday, June 18, 2018.

Sign language interpreter, or other assistance, is provided upon request to the City Manager cnicholls@dextermi.gov, at least 72 hours in advance of the meeting.  Minutes of all meetings are available on the City website, www.dextermi.gov.
