WEBSTER TOWNSHIP PLANNING COMMISSION

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

WEDNESDAY, JULY 18, 2018 at 7:00 p.m.



The Webster Township Planning Commission will hold Public Hearings on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at 7:00 PM at the Webster Township Hall, 5665 Webster Church Road, Dexter, MI, to consider each of the following items:

  1. Public Hearings shall be held to consider certain proposed amendments to the Webster Township Zoning Ordinance, including:
  2. Amendments of Zoning Ordinance Sections 2.10, 13.105.A.(2) and 13.1610.B.: Amendments regarding (i) inoperable, abandoned and junk motor vehicles and the parking and storage thereof, and (ii) the storage of junk, abandoned and discarded materials.
  3. Amendments of Zoning Ordinance Sections 2.10, 9.10.B.ii. and 9.35.B.viii, and the addition of new Zoning Ordinance Section 9.12.C.ix.: Amendments regarding Farm Markets and Farmer’s Markets.
  4. Amendments of Zoning Ordinance Sections 2.10 and 9.10.B.ix.: Amendments regarding Seasonal Agri-tourism.
  5. Public Hearings shall be held to consider certain proposed amendments to the Webster Township Nuisance Ordinance, including:
  6. Amendments of Nuisance Ordinance Section 3.4: Revision of provisions regarding junk, abandoned and inoperable motor vehicles.
  7. Amendments of Nuisance Ordinance Section 3.6.C.(iv): Revision of provisions regarding exceptions to specific noise violations.

Copies of the proposed Zoning Ordinance and Nuisance Ordinance amendments are available at the Township Hall for review. Copies ofthe Zoning Ordinance and Nuisance Ordinance are available at the Township Hall for review and are also available online at www.twp.webster.mi.us.

Written comments may be dropped off or mailed in advance to the Webster Township Hall, 5665 Webster Church Road, Dexter, MI 48130 or emailed to administrator@twp.webster.mi.us.  All correspondence (including via email) must be received no later than 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 18, 2018.  Verbal comments may be heard at the hearing.

Those with disabilities must notify the Township Clerk no less than seven (7) days prior to the meeting so that accommodations may be furnished to satisfy their disability and allow for meaningful attendance.
